About A Taste of Class
At a Taste of Class we pride ourselves in making every event a memorable one. Under the supervision of our very own executive (red seal) chef Dereck Collier our professional team will gladly work with you to create a function suited to your requirements. Our events planner will gladly help plan the menu for your event and within budget.
From the small intimate dinner party to business luncheons, graduations, formal dinners or dream wedding, your next event should be catered by experienced professionals. In addition we also provide freshly prepared meals from a simple sandwich to formal boardroom meals, delivered on time to your location.
Great events demand great food, all exquisitely prepared in our very own kitchen and of course served with ‘A Taste of Class’.
A Taste of Class has an exclusive contract with the Bella Vista and can caterer functions from 100-300 guest sit down dinners to a cocktail receptions hosting up 500 guests. Also, we are the exclusive caterer for the Murray Premises Hotel and preferred caterer for the Admiral’s Green at Pippy Park.

Executive Chef Dereck Collier comes from St. Albans, Bay Despoir. He began his culinary training at the Cabot Institute of Applied Arts and Technology in 1987. He has worked at various venues throughout St. John's- including some of the cities most renowned establishments. His flair for unique and sumptuous creations lead him to the world of catering and fine dining. He has been privileged to work with international chefs from across the world from Germany to Australia. He is also an Interprovincial Red Seal Chef. He looks forward to bringing his medal winning talent to everyone who is looking for a Taste of Class. |
